HOW DO E-BIKES FUNCTION?
E-bikes have three parts: Battery, Electric Motor & Drivetrain.

Electric motor is the core of an e-bike.

Or, the rider can also activate the electric motor by rotating the pedals of his e-bike. The power generated from the battery will boost the speed making the ride easy. This is called Pedal assist riding.
The rider can go full electric mode. In electric mode he has to only rotate the throttle. The e-bike runs on its own without the rider rotating the pedals . This riding style is called Electronic only. But it causes severe drain of battery.
Drivetrain is a very important part of e-bikes. It acts as a booster to the pedals and chain-box of e-bikes.
In e-bikes with mid-drive electric motors, drivetrain is powered instantly making pedalling easier for the rider.

HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO CHARGE E-BIKE BATTERIES?
Typically, e-bike batteries need maximum of 8 hours charging. It generates around 300 to 500 watts of power.

Good quality e-bike batteries will complete charging within 3 to 4 hours time. It can generate 800 to 900 watts of power in one charge. E-bikes with good batteries have better longevity.
